Soft On Crime
Atlas’ enablers raised the felony threshold for “smash-and-grab” crimes to $1,200 and now police can only issue citations - similar to parking tickets - for retail theft crimes, with no jail time.2 That threshold is higher than even that of California.
They also voted to raise the threshold for the amount of illegal drugs like cocaine, meth, and fentanyl required to be considered “trafficking” from 8 grams to 100 grams.
We can’t allow liberals to maintain this soft-on-crime status quo with Atlas in the State Senate.
Culture of Corruption
Atlas’ Democrat allies have created a culture of corruption in the State Legislature, exempting the members of the State Legislature from public records requests, ethical oversight, and open-meeting laws that apply to other branches of state government.3
If elected, Atlas will help these corrupt politicians escape accountability and block much-needed ethics reforms.
Lobbied for a Company That Ran a “Rape Hospital”
As a lobbyist, Atlas represented a healthcare provider that has been sued for numerous cases of abuse and misconduct, including one facility’s case that led to it being called a “rape hospital,” and being forced to pay settlements in the hundreds of millions of dollars.4
